Let's talk about Recruitment!

A Note from the

Recruitment Chairs

Dear Potential New Members,

Together we have the amazing privilege of serving as your 2024 recruitment chairs! We are so excited to prepare and unite the Tau chapter for Fall Formal Recruitment. Our job consists of organizing workshops, educating our chapter members, serving as a liaison between Panhellenic and our chapter, and most importantly, encouraging and welcoming YOU into our doors as you search for your new home on campus!

Recruitment can be an intimidating and overwhelming process. We know you probably have a lot of uncertainty about what it means to join a sorority, but we want you to know that Chi Omega seeks to know you in the most authentic, genuine, and honest way possible. Each member of our chapter is individually unique, yet together everyone’s strengths and talents come together to form an incredibly well-rounded, engaging, loving, and supportive sisterhood. College is a time for transition and change, and it is here where you can be your true self and find life-long friends who love you fully given your strengths AND weaknesses. Whether you are confident and eager to start a new beginning, or you are feeling overwhelmed and unsure, our goal is for you to see what Chi O represents and upholds. We hope you feel welcomed and supported as you search for a place to run home to. We cannot wait to sincerely get to know each of you and help navigate you through the recruitment process!

We are so honored to have this opportunity to show you and others why our sisterhood is so unique and special. We have fallen in love with Chi O, and we hope to show each of you how impactful it has been throughout our college careers. It is an organization that promotes scholarship, leadership, and service to our surrounding community while building friendships and connections that will last a lifetime. Throughout the recruitment process, we hope that you gain a genuine sense of what Chi O is all about. We look forward to meeting each and every single one of you!

XOXO,

Gracie, Sayley, & Sarah

Meet our

New Member Educators

Dear Potential New Members,

Welcome! We are already counting down the days here at Chi Omega until pledge class 2024 runs down the hill, and we could not be more excited! It feels like just yesterday when we went through Recruitment -- it was truly one of the greatest experiences! All 11 Panhellenic sororities here at Ole Miss are so unique, all offering different values, ideals, sisterhoods, and philanthropies. We encourage you to go into Recruitment with an open mind and enjoy the experience. The long week is so worth it in the end!

For those of you who do run to Chi O on Bid Day, we are so excited to spend lots of time with you in the Fall! As New Member Educators, our job is to guide new members in their transition to college and the Chi Omega experience. From dressing up for your first swap, laughing together at Sisterhood events, eating meals at the house, granting wishes for Make A Wish, and getting initiated into Chi Omega, we have so much to look forward to! We cannot wait for you all to experience all the joy that Chi Omega has to offer!

XOXO,

McKinley and Liddy
